Not my teaware but I'm looking for it

Figured since we have a thread like
this one, we could also have a more practical one, for teaware we can actually afford but can't find. After all, we all know how bad TAD withdrawals get when you can't find that specific pot.
As for me, I'm currently looking for a flat teacup I saw on Tea Masters Blog but can't find again. It was similar to the ones shown
here, but flatter and larger, possibly thicker too.

I can recommend looking for cups or bowls under Antiques/Asia/ Japan and China on eBay. I have seen and own a few more horizontal porcelain cups.
Here is an Edo period example.

The warm ivory white looks like Dehua or at least Dehua-style. This type of low-relief decoration is called sprigged or sprigging. If you're drawn to the decorative style in addition to the shape, you might search for sprigged Dehua or blanc de chine.
Even though these are far off the shape you're looking for, here are a couple examples:

Sprigged prunus decorated cups are pretty common I think, but from the second photo in the Tea Masters link, it looks like ... dragons in relief?
Could also be molded modern...

It says Dingyao but it doesn't have the traditional Dingyao warm beige hue. Just looks like modern Dehua-style whiteware to me.

Why is that? We can have dreams can't we?
After all teaware has been made in the thousands since old times, still a lot out there! If you could just buy it at any shops we wouldn't need to look for it

As long as we don't have to sell our organs to pay for them, antiques are welcome too!
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions tjkdubya and Victoria. The cup from Purple Cloud Tea House comes close, although I'm looking for something without decorations.

Found a cup at the local shop that's closer to what I'm looking for. It's part of an "easy gaiwan" + cups set that I have no use for, but the shape is perfect. Do you know if this style has a specific name?

Hmm, I don't know about the one you're holding but the cups in the Tea Masters photos are a pretty classic common profile, and in that similar size and shape can be referred to as a "hand-pressing" bowl or cup (压手碗 yashouwan or 压手杯 yashoubei) because of the way it sits and presses into the hand when held. Try Google image search on the Chinese names to see examples.

I'm not sure if the term "hand-pressing" cup implies how flat or tall it is, though, other than how the width of the cup presses into the hand...
