Wow, I've always been envious of Toru, having so many beautiful pieces in this store (like his many Tokoname pots). Seeing the work below by Konishi Yohei, i feel myself wanting one of his works even more. Beautiful pot!

I think should the point ever arrive that i can afford one i would have mayor trouble making a choice, as his works are so diverse.

Since I don't ever have my pots arranged, stock-photo shots will have to do :$

My first pot was a shibo, 75ml to the brim; I'm unsure of the maker

Banko-yaki kyusu (Masaki)

Bonus gaiwan made from a cup and the teapot lid:

Modern hongni shuipings, 90ml and 150ml

90s zini shuiping, 65ml

My first "nice" gaiwan, 100ml

And this is an err... original piece.

Oh, nice collection and displays. And nice to see so many kettles. Did you season your them before using? I have a white clay Japanese kettle that I need to season with rice water, hoping it gets rid of clay taste.

All 3 kettles on are currently not in use... they are brand new. So I have not seasoned them. I usually rotate between my Aluminium Kettle (normal tea kettle), Purion Kettle from Lin’s and my Tetsubin.

Cheers!

The following cupboards are not so fancy, but keep in mind they're kitchen cabinets ;)

Lately i've been adding some bizen cups and bits to the collection, and surprisingly the neriage pieces are very pleasant to use.

Some kyo ware coffee cups.

And 2 spaces with kyusu and other pieces i haven't found a better place for yet.

If someone is curious about a not-so-obviously-made-by a potter feel free to ask. I can list all later but that's a lot of work :geek:

I have a “bad” reaction to Fuut’s cabinet displays. I have 2 glass front kitchen cabinets devoted to teaware and I’ve been spacing the teaware. If I cluster items closer together, the way that Fuut does, especially if all the cups are arranged together, I can fit in more teaware. Clearly I still suffer from TAD.

I need to find my ‘real’ camera so I can take photos that show off the special glass and special in-cabinet lighting designed to show off my teaware.

Nice collection Fuut. In the last two images I am curious about the shigaraki-like highly textured bowls on the lower left and right (second from last image, image won’t load), and the vine handled teapot in the last image.

This photo?

Everything you can see here except for the Seiho yazumashi is by Shawn, greenwood:) Same goes for the wall vase in the other post. The vine handle one i got not that long ago from AN, it came from the Unzen kiln, i snapped at it because they apparently made it with a mold, and i was interested in the difference:)

Unrelated, i've been looking for a relatively large and not too expensive trivet.. haven't found it yet. Anyone have one they're tired of? :P

I know, i have way too much wares. I started using kitchen cabinets because i don't have any more space.. This includes a room upstairs, and 3 more glass displays through out the house. Anyway that's why i'm stacking, plus those cups i use on a daily basis:)

Oh and these have "doors" with glass panes too, but i opened them for the photo's.

I've resorted to stacking some cups here and there in my overcrowded display.....

Thx @pedant .

I layered a run of white Christmas lights before placing the items on the counter top. Loved the lighting effects.

Cheers!
