Show Off Your Teaware Displays
I have a cat that slips into my tea space every chance she gets, doors were an absolutely necessity.

My first impression was 'looks like a shop' haha. Fantastic!
I really wish I could have a room and setup like this, hahaha. The danger is that then there is pressure to keep buying more pots to fill the spaces. Maybe similar pressure for those who get a pumidor- a few cakes just won't do, even though that's more than enough to drink.
I think that would be the danger... and the dusting!LeoFox wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 11:06 amI really wish I could have a room and setup like this, hahaha. I find something really cosy about displays made in book shelves. Could you tell me about the dark brown tea pot in the centre of your second photo? The handle caught my eye.
I keep them relatively high so that my toddler can't reach them- though she has her eye on the tiny pre 77 hong ni in front of that brown pot you are asking aboutTeaGrove wrote: ↑Sun Jul 17, 2022 5:18 amI think that would be the danger... and the dusting!LeoFox wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 11:06 amI really wish I could have a room and setup like this, hahaha. The brown pot is a 2015 purion my dad picked up in Taiwan. He doesn't really use it so I picked it up. I devote it to indian, Ceylon, middle eastern assamica teas. I'm pretty sure this is a lin ceramics interpretation of the xishi pot, which often has this kind of reversely shaped handle.
