Inspired debunix post earlier in the thread I picked up a kairagi tea bowl by the same artist, Mukuhara Kashun as well as a guinomi made by him.

That little cup is beautiful too! I'm enjoying a little end of the day, end of the thermos shu puerh from one of my new Kashun bowls as I write this.

I had especially a mizusashi in mind...
Here's one for sale right now, and probably a lot cheaper than a brand new one, but still waay outside my current comfort zone ;)

I love the look of hagi wares, but being as I'm not particularly into Japanese tea I've never really looked into them before. Do hagi artists ever make smaller gongfu sized teapcups, say around 40mL?

There are a few smaller teacups. If the package I'm waiting for gets unstuck from customs then I'll be able to show you ;)

The smaller one I posted above is about 80-90ml, it's a guinomi, sake cup, and they usually come in smaller sizes. I love using the above cup for gongfu.

Guinomi tend to be perfect gongfu cup size....lots are 50-100mL.
