chawan artist search !

Ive recently acquired this chawan and would like to know a bit more about the piece and its artists history as it was apparently a wedding gift back in the 1980's.
That stamp seems to say 西山 so I think it's something like this. Seems to be a kiln located in Kyoto. There is a little bit of information about the kiln on the second website.
