Haven't heard of setsudo. Very unique shape. How does it pour?

Thanks!

@LeoFox: Yes, that one. I've been eyeing it for a while and snatched it when he reduced it.

@blkgreymon: Good control when pouring, whether slow or fast (<8s from brimfull to empty); no drips. It's also surprisingly good for one-handed brewing with boiling water: handle grips naturally a bit further away from the body than other small side-handle kyusu I've tried, but it's still easy to reach the large knob, if the lid is burning hot. The whole thing feels very well thought out, I love it.

Interesting with dots and stripes and earth tones. Should make a sweet platform for Kyusu of many types.

I spent a good couple hours staring at this beautiful kyusu made by Yamada Jozan the 3rd all to plenty of delight. Order and chaos rhymes here so nice.

There are more shots at https://www.buyjp4u.com/product_detail.asp?Id=4625. Meanwhile I'll go nag the seller for a high res image to hang on the wall.

Fantastic mayake kiln effects, like bubbling soda ash, also the size and proportions are super nice. Congrats.

Congrats.
Just to clarify, I do not own the kyusu. Neither do I hold any IP (duh) rights for the images. I would easily join in on praising the person who made it though.

@pedant, judging by the ids it must have been listed some time this year and I'd be surprised to see it priced under 5k. On the bright side, it came with free shipping, somebody got a nice deal :)

@WhisperingFrog192

Nice find! What have you brewed in it so far? Looks like a good size for company.

I have a kyusu en route, anxiously awaiting its arrival. Currently sitting in Chicago Customs...
