How long have you been drinking tea?
For over a decade, since my childhood! Tea has been a large part of my family and heritage.

What kind of tea do you drink?
Primarily dancong oolongs and Chinese red tea (black tea).

How do you prepare your tea?
Gongfu style / cold brew!

What factors lead you to delve into the world of tea, and what is keeping you there?
As a first generation Chinese-American, it has always been important to me to connect with my culture. I was able to find that connection to my Chaozhou (Chinese: 潮州) heritage and family through tea. My fondest memories with my grandparents were sitting around our family room table, drinking Gong Fu tea. What began as “tea parties” with my family quickly became a lifestyle and passion for me.

What is your location?
Los Angeles, California

How long have you been drinking tea?

What kind of tea do you drink?
Oolong most, just sampling and enjoying.

How do you prepare your tea?
Roughly :P, western style with a large extra fine infuser in my tea cup

What factors lead you to delve into the world of tea, and what is keeping you there?
I was shopping for a nice Hasami porcelain cup for various purposes like hot cocoa. I though perhaps I would try some teas also and
really enjoyed Taiwan oolongs so I've been buying crazy samples from various places and loving the process. Learning about how it is made
and how to properly taste it is also been a pleasure.

A coffee lover on the Tea forum.

Hi I am from India and am a Foodie.

I love coffee a lot. I started writing about coffee and here is my piece.

https://bdkhealth.com/the-best-coffee-shops-in-us-2020/

I love to write about History of Coffe and while researching I found that tea has an interesting history than coffee and am now started reading about Tea.

I would like to take part in the forum, discussion and contribute to the forum.

Hi everyone! My name is Peter and I have been around the tea community since 2017. You may have seen me elsewhere on r/tea (u/peterlista), Instagram (@mrpeterlista), discord (@peterlista), or in blog comments all over. I mainly drink young sheng, roasted oolong, and aged whites in a gongfu-style, though I've been known to dabble in other types of tea and brewing methods from time to time. I have recently moved from Bloomington, Indiana to Washington, DC, where I am doing my best to grow the tea community here through casual tea meetups.

If you live in the DMV, let me know and we can share some tea!
