I was informed I must introduce myself here on this part of the forum. I'm mostly interested in Gyokuro and matcha and not much else. I like Japanese incense a lot but there are no forums other than Olfactory Rescue Service and that forum is not to my liking. any other places for Japanese incense ? Thanks

Lol, you are correct, no requirement, although to become a Vendor Member one does need to make an introduction, and interact with the community. Making an introduction is just a nice way of introducing yourself to the community.

I'm from Scotland, and have been drinking tea all my life.
This year, during some particularly tough days working in forestry I found tea having a very soothing effect whilst also being very refreshing, so I started drinking a lot more!

More recently I decided to go down the rabbit hole and started gong fu brewing in a gaiwan various white teas, green teas, oolongs etc, and it really has become a big part of my life outside of work.

**How long have you been drinking tea?**
I have been drinking tea for over 15+ years. It all started when a friend introduced me to the wonderful world of tea.

**What kind of tea do you drink?**
I enjoy a variety of teas, such as green, black, and oolong tea. But my favorites are Puerh, White, and Fuzhuan Brick tea.

**How do you prepare your tea?**
I use the Gongfu tea brewing method at home because I have a complete set of tea sets. In the office, I usually steep white or Fuzhuan tea in a thermos cup. I also use a Gaiwan or a purple clay pot in the teahouse for the Gongfu tea method.

**What tea knowledge are you interested in exploring right now?**
Explore the extensive and complex world of Puerh tea.

**What factors lead you to delve into the world of tea, and what is keeping you there?**
The rich flavors and the relaxing experience drew me in. The continuous discovery of new tastes and the sense of tranquility that tea brings keep me engaged.

**What is your location?**
I'm currently in Xi'an, a city at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains. All types of tea except oolong and yellow tea are produced in the Qinling Mountains.
