Ive got a zini pot thats had about 2-250 grams of roasted oolong through it. I think it would do better for my aged sheng.
Would you reset it, or just start brewing the sheng?

If it wasn’t yours before, reset

personally, i'd try it several times as-is, reset it, and then try the same tea again as an experiment

@Brent D

If it’s not dirty or stained badly, I would not reset it... reason is very simple. All clays are porous, one way or another. Especially Yixing clay, they tend absorb tea aroma when it’s new. Therefore, it’s best not to reset the pot. It will perform at its best after the pot has satisfied its “hunger” for tea!

Cheers!!
