If it is cheap it might still be worth for the fun of it and to experiment.

Now that CZ is mentioned the darker colour makes sense.

Truth! The spout looks like a Vienna sausage or a finger. The seal shows more definition in the latest pics. Doesn’t seem Yixing at all going by the aesthetics of it. I would snag it for the right price.

I decided not to. Another friend of mine (not from this forum) has also told me that even if it is a good CZ pot it seems like it was stored very badly, and such pots can take quite a while to make a decent tea... and since I'm not rich enough to hoard I decided to try and hunt some more on eBay...
