Hi everyone,
I can get a good deal on this pot because its spout is chopped. I'm just a beginner so its a good opportunity for me to experiment brewing tea in a pot but wouldn't like to buy something of low quality....
Do you think that otherwise it is a good one? what clay is it? quality?

Looks like a 1980s neiziwaihong, should be around $100 intact. The chipped spout will be annoying, you could get it kintsugi'd but it will cost more than the pot. If you can get it for like $30 you can use it as a study piece, otherwise it is not really worth it.

For what kind of teas is it good for? (can you tell from the pic if it is high fired or not?)

I'd use it for dark roast TGY, or aged sheng.
