Hey :)

These are photos of some of my teapots. Maybe, you'll find this interesting, too.

I took the photos with my smartphone using a microscope with 60x magnification. The name of the microscope is "Carson MM-300 MicroBrite Plus". You can get it for about $20. I had to use manual exposure / white balance to get acceptable results with my cheap smartphone.

Note: You should not take these photos as examples, because I cannot guarantee that the pots are genuine. It's just for fun. ;)

This is great @Mark-S thank you for sharing with us, beautiful tonal and textural range. Would be nice to have identification for each sample. Love the pieces of iron and other minerals popping out of the surface. I’ve seen this also in my yixing pieces. In Japanese ceramics it is calle Stone Goby ( 石ハゼ ) when pieces of feldspars and silica stone burst out of the surface. It is a sought after highlight of Shigaraki pieces.

@Mark-S Cool lineup! Do each of these samples account for one teapot?

That's interesting, thanks. I still have to learn a lot about Japanese teaware.
