Hey Mark-S are the two pots posted by vintage_hifi_teapot_collector also from F1? Out of all the pots on that list, those 2 pots he has look somewhat unique.
They're not. They are full handmade, by a good craftsman.

@steanze thanks for confirming. They seem to have more character comparing to mold made pots.

Another one: https://ching158.pixnet.net/blog/post/1 ... 宗一廠-早期-海棠壺 (not from the 60s in my opinion)

Interesting article, a possible 60s version

You maybe right, it does have a honeycomb filter.

Hi, this is my pot, bought from Jingteashop - they stated it’s from Yixing teapot factory, late 80/early 90, from pin zini, 60 ml. It gets daily use for several months now :) Would be happy to hear your opinions!

The clay looks very nice, almost too nice to be typical F1 from late 80/early 90, maybe private order pot from F1? The chop has this craftsman’s name 毛映紅, which explains the craftsmanship. A good pot indeed!

This is past my expiration date so to speak, but it could be Xiaomingjia ware. Although not sure about the clay, it looks more like later 90-2000s.

The clay looks nice, but it does not look F1 to me.

@filipes
This looks like a nice pot but it doesn’t look like F1 to me either. I vaguely remember someone else posting (here or on TC) a very similar pot from Jing which was late 90-00’s. That would be my guess for this one too.

I feel like I need to counterbalance all these GIANT pots everyone is posting. Here is my latest Yixing gamble based on super blurry photos.

It looks to be the smaller sized xian piao from early 60’s. You can see a very faint mark under lid which is probably 線漂 seal. It also appears to have original wax coating based on cloudiness of sheen. The seller stated is has a crack on body but It looks like it might just be a scratch in wax. These pots are ridiculously expensive these days so it’ll be well worth the cost of staples if it indeed is a crack and is authentic. I’ll repost once it arrives.

Nevermind, Jing listed it as early 90’s so I assume this is same pot.

And it also does not mention F1 either, so that would make sense then. Case solved.
