I don’t think I do, sorry... can’t really see much anyways. The ones I did, where just fully clogged, so not a case of widening it, but rather to have a hole in the first place.

Usually yixing cups and pitchers aren't great... I would prefer to go with something very different like porcelain than with a clay that is not the same as the clay on your teapot, and is potentially of lower quality. But aesthetics can be quite personal, there aren't any rules
You make a valid point sir, and tea sets can be expensive and worthless at the same timesteanze wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:13 pmUsually yixing cups and pitchers aren't great... I'd like to see a cone shaped lid hole, because I think I'd break my lid if I try that.
I did in fact go for it! The Duanni is 110ml. I ended up going for a LQER Zhuni & Zini instead of the Hongni mentioned before. For Hongni, I decided on a 60's 80ml version.Chadrinkincat wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:02 pmTeaTotaling
I noticed that tall 80’s duanni pot from ZAG was sold. Did you end up buying it?
I’ve been trying to convince myself to buy that LQER hongni pot but ultimately decided against it. I came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn’t see much use due to size and price (fear of breaking). My 2yr old 60’s pots are still in unused condition so I wouldn’t expect anything different with an even rarer/$$$$ pot.
Exciting! Keep us postedTeaTotaling wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:33 pmI did in fact go for it!

Wow! That's quite an order! Very excited for you. Which LQER pots did you decide on? 60s hongni shuiping?TeaTotaling wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:33 pmI did in fact go for it! The Duanni is 110ml. I know that my pots are not rare or valuable, but no reason to destroy a $100 pot. However, I won't try to change the hole on this pot again.Chadrinkincat wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:08 pmMark-S
I don’t have any pictures. What are you expecting to see? Your pot isn’t rare or valuable so I wouldn’t overthink it unless your planing to resell it.
It would be great if you could show me a photo if you come across a pot like this.
