I have been learning more about hongni category, and I came across this pot. Initially, I thought it might be 90s F1 pot as it has a F1 potter's mark. I think it has been painted with a dark tone of material on inside and outside. I am not sure if this is done in 90s F1. What do you think? ;)

I think this is not a F1 pot. More pictures would help though :)

Got more pics of the overall pot? Looks odd from these images. That filter hole area looks very weird...
It’s night time here, I’ll take a few more photos tomorrow. The filter area certainly is weird. Initially, I thought previous owner used an abrasive pad or something to clean the inside, but when I examined closely, it looks more like brush mark. The outside has an even orange-red color tone that’s darker than inside.

@steanze
I agree with your assessment after handling the pot in person yet I haven't seen enough 90s F1 pots. Since you and @Bok are here, here are a few more photos taken with indoor light. The base has 宋宝娟 chop.

Still don't think this is F1. But in the '90s F1 made a lot of unusual pots, so it's hard to know for sure.

Any collectors/seniors can provide input if 太阳线 existed before factory period? ;)
Curious about this question too. I've been looking at pots at auction and those that are old or supposedly old never have this 太阳线 (sunbeams?). Only factory period (maybe) and newer.

it can happen before factory period, but it is not common. Here are two examples of this on the interior of late Qing zhuni teapots.

Be careful, auctions are flooded with fakes, with and without sunbeams.

@Bok here are a few more photos with natural lighting that captured this pot's color. It's high fire, medium thickness, and appeared to be mold made.

@DailyTX
Doesn’t look like an F1 pot to me either.

Clay sorta reminds me of a couple modern pots I’ve own.
