This is a very thin and dirty hongni pot from my dad's collection. He believes it is at least pre 90s. Would appreciate the opinions of the experts! Thank you!

:D :D

Color differences would be due to change in lighting. Two pics were taken under bright sun. The others under overcast conditions with some indoor lights. I will note which ones were under the bright sun.
Hi LeoFox, this looks after 1990s to me. The seal is made to look like a F1 seal, but in my view this one was made later, outside F1.

Is it because of the unorthodox shape and strong red hue?

Speaking of bright yellow duanni. This one is from the 1970’s but not made by F1. Only $700 😂

That's a steal for a non-F1 70's pot though

What do you guys think about none factory yixing during factory period? Also, some vendors also claimed 80s zhuni. Do those pots exist?

Judging by the color, i'd say the ore comes from the Yellow mountain. Indeed, it could be a product of the same kiln producing the zhuni pots. But my guess is that this one was a work of a daoist hermit living deep in the mountains.

Because of the shape and the craftsmanship, i.e. the lid interior, the filter, and other details are constructed with fairly recent methods.

Well obviously it was made by a renegade potter at their secret studio. Imho this one is a true handmade artisan piece of 70’s history.
