Not that I think it’ll change much, but do you have images of the inside?
Here you go, trying my best with the photocamera of my phone. Pictures taken with no flash, just the lightning bulb on the ceiling.

That line inside the pot at the position of the handle makes it seem fully hand made

And.... some pics with flash, yes, clay seems very dirty.... iron rich.... and it lack the opaqueness of a real antique.
If i cannot send it back i will try to clean it. Could it be wax?. (Did they wax teapots in RoC era???)
Also if you think is fully hand made, why waste workmanship with crap clay?
Im very puzzled by this teapot, i do not know what to think :?

Last pic is a Tianqin ni from mud and leaves.
Myabe this fake pot is trying to imitate tian qin ni?
Also do you think they left the clay very dirty and full of iron only to imitate old way to process clay?

Possibly the angle, the inner seam looks superficial and it tapers before hitting the top. Looking at the base, I don’t think it’s old...As for wax, it should be on the outside, and it will melt with boiling water.

The seam actually bends to the left, but it reaches up to the wall/neck of the teapot, it is about 1-2 mm in depth i think.
Does it exists any tipe of tea that would benefit from that much iron in a teapot  ?
Thanks for your pictures, i assume one is a modern zhuni and the other is an ancient zhuni?

@Bac second @DailyTX it’s a 100% fake no doubt at all. The fakers now know how to add little details to make a pot look handmade. Yours is definitely not made by hand as you can clearly see from the inside bottom picture. Compare DailyTx’s image. Shine is the first big red flag, even a waxed pot would have a different kind of shine and surface.
