my jianshui pot arrived now, an 80ml shi piao, so starting to dive into that world a bit. I don't want to judge too much yet since its only been a couple sessions with two different liu baos and I have a feeling this pot might take for a while before hopefully starting to give back, so we'll see how it goes. I also will give some other teas a try with it to see if its better suited to something else. VERY different from the nixing from day one though. this is just my experience so far with this one jianshui pot, but if you want good results straight away maybe nixing is the better option.

@wave_code: Any reason you went for a small pot? Seems to go against the "mainstream preference" for liubao brewing. And yes, do keep us posted about how it develops and performs with different types of tea.

This thread has negatively affected my wallet, too. Ended up ordering a nixing pot a couple weeks ago, on its way in the mail :)

@OCTO

My mind's committee is like these monks, and the teapots like the bathing ladies. The struggle is real

It's a clip from "Raining in the Mountain". It's a decent film :)

Hahaha...that video clip is hilarious.

This is definitely a male-dominated forum :( We need more women and less testosterone. Since @StoneLadle join this forum, I feel like the testosterone level in this forum has been raised by 10 fold ;)

You can be he, she or they. But my gut instinct tells me your free testosterone level is high :)
