Help ID one of my fav teapots?

This was one of my first teapots that I picked up about 20 years ago. Could anyone help me ID the maker, and find any other info about it?

I've always loved its shape and use it for delicious sheng. I repaired it about 5 years ago but it keeps on going. I now have 30 great teapots but this old one has a special place in my heart.

Not sure, somewhere north of 1999-2000s. Somehow the clay reminds me of Taiwanese red clays. Could be it’s from there and not Yixing.

I'm definitely a newbie in the realm of clay, but it looks like it was wheel spun, based on the concentric circles on the inside... With that color red could it possibly be Chao Zhou clay?

Thanks for the tip, I've looked at a bunch of Taiwanese pots to see if you're on to something, and they do look similar. That could explain why I've never come across a Chinese pot with the exact shape too.

Yes, it does look wheel thrown to me also.

I had the exact same reaction. The sheen reminds me of an Yingge teapot I have.
