Through my learning on pots, I have been reading about seams. A seam can be a sign that a pot is hand made. It can also tell you if a pot is slip cast. I am not versed enough to tell the difference, so I made a video.
This should hopefully be educational for everyone.

Bitterleaf Teas just talked a little bit about this today on Instagram.

Thanks for the post! The seam does not necessarily mean it's slip cast, it could be made with a mold but not slip cast.

It would be more accurate if said after holding the pot, but from the video it seems that it is mould-hand made with slabs but not slip cast.
Slip casting usually shows very smooth and round shapes in the inside of the pot and no tool marks except where the spout is attached to the body.
It’s not very clear from the video quality and the dark traces left by tea inside of the pot, but it seems that there are thin tool marks all over the inside which would be from smoothing the surface after adjusting the slabs together.
