As a lover of Lapsang, I'm searching for recommendations about brands for Lapsang Souchong. I've tried different from many suppliers but they are not too smoked. Sometime sweets.

I like strong, with intense bonfire and pine smell.

Do you know any brands with this requirement?

I like Hu-Kwa. It is an old blend, going back to at least the 1910s, but is now made out of Taiwanese teas rather than Chinese teas due to the move over to Taiwan in the 1950s and the U.S./China trade embargo of the 1950s-1970s. It is properly smoky, although it is not a Tarry Souchong (the extra-smoky type made using tarry wood). Might be worth a look -- https://marktwendell.com/shop-by-tea-type/hu-kwa-tea

I found this Black tea vendor online. I can’t vouch for how good her teas are but it might be good for those wanting to support Black owned businesses:

I’m just coming here to finally report on a bunch of samples that I ordered from Yatra tea company. I ordered them several years ago, and the box arrived and sat unopen for an unconscionably long time and then I have been slowly working my way through the black tea samples, slowed in part because Obubu Tea Farm started sending me some black teas with my subscription mailings, and so I was exceptionally slow going through the black tea as a mostly oolong drinker.

I know some of them lost freshness through the time that I was ignoring them, but they definitely were very nice Teas, I think well worth the price, and the original shipment was very quick and timely. When I do finish my samples, I will order from them again. It will likely be a little while, but I now feel confident I can get black teas to fulfill that particular craving when it comes.

So far I've had good experiences with:

Jay Shree (solid single-estate Indian teas, great pricing, reasonably quick delivery)
The Ceylon Tea
Shan Valley
Satemwa
Yunnan Sourcing
Renegade
Hatvala
