Mountain Tea is a good gateway entry level vendor with very reasonable prices. In 2016, after my local brick and mortar store closed, I ordered several teas from them to explore because they ship out of Los Angeles area. Their Medium Roast Dong Ding and Imperial Pearl Oolong are very well priced and pretty okay as medium grade. From that order these were also okay and well priced; Mountain Oolong, Spring ‘16, Four Seasons of Spring Oolong ‘16, LiShan Oolong, Winter ‘16 (just okay not memorable). No comparison to higher end vendors like Floating Leaves or Te Company, but then the prices are substantially less also.

This is the SeaDyke TGY that I grew up on, in the bright red tin:

Is this the 'classic' or something else?

This is available at most Chinatown grocery stores in Manhattan and SF. It's prob the easiest SD tin to find.

I actually thought about drinking this tea today. The one can I have of it is around 10yrs old so it's prob just getting good now.

Its not great tea but theyre usually much better after a few years.

Foojoy's DHP can is cheaper than SD and way better but SD sets the bar pretty low. Butterfly brand is also significantly better than both but it's $32 for 60g. Grocery store tea is always going to be inferior to what's available online.
