Seems it is only fair to contact the vendor about this, and share why you think it is not as described, since you have called her out publicly. Glad you liked it anyway though.
Would they stop selling the cake if I informed them I didn't think it was actually from 90's? I'm pretty sure 2 other people already told them same thing like 5 years ago and they're still selling it.
I haven't seen this vendor publicly discussed since I bought that cake so I thought it was relevant to bring it up now.

Has a great selection of natural Taiwanese oolongs. In many instances they do taste like they've just come from someone's garden. I've never seen such beautiful tea leaves before in my life, looking at them after they've brewed is always amazing.
After sampling his entire oolong selection (to educate myself about Taiwanese oolongs), I would say that I would only re-purchase the top tier ones because they have the best flavor profile.

Bairuixiang, Ban Tian Yao, Matou Rou Gui, Fo Shou, Ya Shi Xiang Dancong, Advanced Bai Mudan, and Old Bush Lapsang. Evertything was good, the Ban Tian Yao was my favorite.

What was the price for a -10yr old HK cake 6-7yrs ago? That's at least how long this cake has been on there. Original price was around $200.

Couldn't tell you what the price ten years ago was--I wasn't drinking tea then! I was a total coffee head. Funny how things change.
A mid-2000s raw CNNP cake wouldn't have been sold ten years ago though. Dealers tend to release aged classic sheng recipes to market at the 7-10 year point.

I really like the greener variety of high mountain Oolong. So far I’ve only ordered from

I find their value is good, especially when you buy one of the weekly specials or get a coupon. And their sample packs are good value.
Is their another vendor with better quality for the price? Or perhaps similar value but different in a good way (unique flavours, but still greener style)?
