We used to have two retail tea shops in our area (Lake County Illinois) but they've both closed and I want to try oolong, white, several different black teas (gunpowder, etc.), green and pu erh. Can anyone suggest somewhere I can order a sampler pack of a bunch of general types rather than very specific examples of specific types?

I'm thinking a good representative from each type.

I searched for this, but didn't find it on the forum.

Thank you for any answers.

i've moved towards specific teas from more specialized vendors, but https://what-cha.com/ comes to mind as a jack of all trades teas kind of shop.

See if Ecocha or Teavivre as well might have some sample/gift packs?

Mandala tea has some stuff and is pretty close to you as well. Email them and I am sure they can assist you.

Seven Cups has a new line of tea samplers. If you decide to purchase from them sign up for their “membership”, which is actually their mailing list. You’ll receive a discount coupon every month.
