Yes, good Hongcha, no bitterness, unless I push the steep for a few minutes. Even then it's not necessarily undrinkable, just bold and strong. I'll try the Hongni out with some Hongcha tomorrow. On my quick, initial write up thinking through the teapot rotation, I did list the Hongni for Red Tea. I guess at that point it would really come down to which tea would cost more, and which one would I drink more. 80ml is nice and economical. I am still awaiting to receive a 50ml from Chanting Pines, that one has aged Oolong written all over it.

anyone happen to have tried this liu bao?- https://chantingpines.com/collections/l ... am-liu-bao
seems like not such a bad price to get to try something with a more traditional processing method and pinewood flavor without risking getting a totally gross farmer tea. I'm wondering how it stacks up though.
they seem to have had a few other options come and go including some more 80s and 90s options, unfortunately with even less information on than on the traditionally processed one above.

in case anyone is looking to make a pricier purchase in the next few day, I have a coupon code for 5% off (which can be quite a lot if you get a fancy pot!) that expires on the 5th I won't be using. I'm not totally sure but its worth a try to see if its transferable- message me and I'm happy to share it.
Ming dynasty pot??? That would be quite a feature if they can put one up for sale...L.S.G.artapprentice wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:49 amMy dream is to buy a qing dyasty or Ming dyasty yxing pot from them as well as some Ming dynasty cups. I have some qing dynasty blue line cups from them (40ml) that I love but of course I need more lol

Most people who have one would rather sell their grandmother than such a rare thing.
Hey if their grandmother can make perfect Biang Biang noodles and other handmade noodle dishes ill pay the same priceBok wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 1:15 amMing dynasty pot??? I am new on this Forum.
I live in France.
I have ordered a teapot at ChantingPines 3 weeks ago. I have seen some members here also have teapots from this seller.
I am worried because I have no reply and no information from this seller since I made my order.
They absolutely never never answer any message (email ou Instagram).
Would you have any advice to help me contact this seller ?
Thank you.

Nice pots. I have never heard from someone who did not receive an order from them, so track record seems fine. Do they have a phone nr or anything? Might try that if email does not work.Lionel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:29 amI am new on this Forum.

Hi everyone, it's been a long time, I'd like to bring back the discussion, probably many have already gained experience with these pots. What do you say? What are your impressions?
Anybody know is there a difference between Luo Han pot on CP and the same on GTH? Is it Silver grade on GTH?
