Years ago, I tried some of these. Ito En matcha isn't great. Fukujuen's gyokuro isn't bad but not outstanding either. And I did compare numerous Koyamaen vs Shichimeien matcha of varying grades and found I prefer Shichimeien (more depth, less flat) across the board.
I just learned that itoen has higher end products not listed on their english website.
