Steepster has been pretty dead for a few years. I would check it once in awhile up to a year or so ago, less this year, and there were still people lurking around, but minimal discussion activity. It's hard to say how many people were still using it for reviews; maybe a good number, or maybe not many.

All the groups or sites seem to experience a life-cycle and later decline. More activity has centered on Instagram and meetup or interview variations for awhile, than any form of group or forum. The one Discord server is active and that's about it, and it probably helps to be in your early 20s to feel like that's a good social theme fit.

Some 8 treasure tea from seven cups. It's pretty nice- and I wish I had one of those big gaiwans meant for sipping out of - which is the proper vessel for this kind of thing.

Blend includes nine herbs: jujube date, longan, goji, ginseng, hawthorn fruit, tangerine peel, chrysanthemum, Chinese licorice, and young bamboo leaf.

Nice! I tried that one as well, but I think my brewing was off or I ordered at the wrong time -- the first tea from them I'd received that I suspected might be stale. If they have new stock in, maybe I will give it another go. :)

Didn't think it was stale in my case Was able to steep it many many times all day with decent flavor

Valentine's Herb Garden from Sazen (Rose, Chrysanthemum, Cherry, Butterfly-pea). Looks interesting due to the blue component, tastes a bit meh, though most notes are pleasant enough.

A nicer experience to pick the flowers than to drink the flowers for sure.

Had a chance to try some alfalfa-mint tea today -- maybe unsurprisingly, it tastes like vegetable broth.

It supposed to help reduce urinal acidity ( CTM ) , so I drink it every morning now ( instead of shu I use to before ) . The look is not much appealing and so the taste ( but can get use to it ) .

Cape jasmine (Gardenia jasminoides) , tuber of the kudzu vine (Pueraria lobata) , Cassia seed , tuber of the kudzu vine (Pueraria lobata), Mulberry leaves , Chicory

Steeped not simmered. Nettle is high in iron but it's hard to say if the health benefits can be appreciated with this method of preparation.

Trying this tea now. Very mild flavor- maybe slight acidity from mulberry, and some sweetness along with a touch of white pepperiness. Very Easy and pleasant to drink!

I'm drinking soba cha from Kettl co.
Soba cha is not like a traditional herbal tea -- buckwheat is actually a fruit seed, not a grain.
I think it has almost no tannin content which also makes it different from some herbal teas.
Either way it does not appear to cause me any negative issues.

For this specific soba cha, the roasting is not heavy like I've had with some others. Also the grains seem to be smaller, apparently it's a different cultivar of buckwheat.

I'm happy that I can finally contribute something to the forum again lol.

Sideritis mountain tea.

Soothing to my very sore throat .

Taste very sweet naturally. Legend has it it makes your immune system stronger.

Dried Lime Tea (chai noomi basra/loomi). Dried limes are cracked, their seeds removed, simmered for 15-30 minutes and then served with sugar or honey. A refreshingly zingy beverage probably better suited to a hot day. I had mine with a small amount of sugar and next time I'll try it with some saffron threads which, like the limes, have been kicking about in my cupboard for years.

I wanted something warm to soothe an irritated throat (too much talking) but it was not time for caffeine last night, so I put together some gamro leaf, a short bit of vanilla bean, sarsaparilla bark, cardamom seeds, mace, ginger, and it was terrific.
