called virgin white tea, this tea costs around $1200 per kilo, and its for around 10 grams it is $30 however for locals in Sri-Lanka it is much lower lol and I think you can get it on the website.

I was proud to share this with some members back in 2018 at @Victoria's place and with Imen at Tea habitat, what is intresting about it is, the flavors of the tea progress dramatically with each brew. Of course you can touch it when making it it doesnt affect the flavor at all, I think that is mostly hype.

good, the flavor profile varies from brew to brew, goes from light and grassy to sweet

the virgin white is a bit more pronounced in flavor profile than the silver needle.

Have you brewed this tea at home? How did it taste then? Also (if you know): How does it age? And does it come in cake shape for aging?

Im late (as always) it comes in loose form many times it comes in tiny individual packs of 20grams. I have a box of it and it tastes about the same as I described. As for aging good question Ill see next time I go to SL to pick up a few packs.

This post made me join this forum.

I found this tea is being sold by Mariage Freres.[1]

I also found the original website of the plantation.[2] I am trying to get some tea directly from them. Will keep you posted if I suceed.
