Plastic piece in a sample of factory cake

Just found this piece in a sample of a 2007 dayi cake. I found hairs and other parts in the past but not plastic.
What do you think?

I've seen plenty of those, usually in older cakes of sheng or shou. It's from those big woven plastic bags that are used to carry mao cha and tea I think!

+1 see them all the time, have a cake that's just filled with them

I'm going with plastic bag threads as well. I'm very familiar with those bags. :)

Aside: It is best to avoid getting your keys in pictures, since it is possible to decode the key and cut a copy. For example, the TSA had a picture of their master key on their website, and it was used to cut a copy as a proof of concept.

As suggested, picture removed :-) and it seems like mystery solved
