value of Pu'er tea brick 1974

I have a round brick in a wooden box that says Wu Qi Ying Fermented Pu'er Inventor 1974 357 that someone gave me. Honestly, I am unlikely to drink it (even though I love other teas, I only drink caffeine free) and was considering giving it to a friend. It occurred to me that it might be worth a lot of money and I should find that out before I give it away. Can someone tell me a range of what it is worth?

hard to say what the value is. the value depends on a collector (or drinker) recognizing the producer and what it actually is and on not thinking it's counterfeit. there's no-name, unrecognizable tea out there, and there's also counterfeits of known tea. it also depends on the tea being stored properly all this time so that the flavor develops. it's not valuable unless it's good tea for drinking.
if it's a tea no one recognizes, maybe it could be sold to someone in person if the flavor is good, but it's hard to demonstrate that without the buyer sampling it. it's also hard to build confidence in the tea if it was not properly stored by someone who appreciates tea.
got any pics of it?
if that tea is real, it would be pretty valuable, i think. sounds like the original shu puerh brick. hard for me to imagine it's authentic. i don't have the expertise to authenticate it, but i think i've seen one before.

It's not likely worth much money. I would guess maybe $10-$20, but it's hard to say without knowing if it's a special cake
The brand is 吴启英
(the cake itself is not from 1974, the date on the wrapper is commemorative, for example

on other TB listing can be found for 176CNY .
The tea is not from 1974 but its just a commemorating the date for the fermentation invention ( or innovation / introduction in puerh processing ) back then.
Probably put it on tea exchange, Reddit has one group for that.

I am trying to attach a photo of the tea. It was given to me by my son who was gifted it by someone who lived in that region. He told my son it was a very special tea he wanted him to have. I have decided not to give it away until I determine if it is something special. Thanks for any advice
