I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested to know the top 5 sheng pu-er tea to try.

Just please write the full name of the tea, whether it's aged or not,
and a website that this very tea can be bought from (if applicable).

1. 30 year aged pure GuShu raw pu'er.

2. 20 year aged pure GuShu raw pu'er.

3. 10 year aged pure GuShu raw pu'er.

4. 30 year aged single estate blend GuShu raw pu'er.

5. 20 year aged single estate blend GuShu raw pu'er.

6. 10 year aged single estate blend GuShu raw pu'er.

7. 30, 20, 10 aged single estate blend small trees raw pu'er.

Yep, raw pu'er has to be aged to be called pu'er categorized under black tea.
Pure unblended 100% GuShu will be best regardless of whichever region, that will be decided on your taste preference.
Then blends of GuShu + small trees.
Then small tress under 100 yrs old.

Lets keep fertilized/pesticide taidi for the other 90% mass consumption.

That's unfortunate, how does one expect to know what and where to buy if most of the tea out there is fake?
How can one know who to trust then?

Sad thing is, you probably can’t know without either having in-person guidance or spending a bit on tuition fees…

By drinking lots of tea, good and bad and most importantly being guided by the right people.

Only thing you can do is to invest a lot of time and money, sample wide and deep and go from there. There are no shortcuts, like in any topic really that one decided to dive in deeper.

They are out there and some of delve into sourcing but as spoken before sampling is crucial. You need to zone into your taste or producer nice, Gets much easier to proceed after those are taken care of. Some of the people in this thread have decades behind them and their advice is a good place to start. I wish I had guidance like this when I started. Lessons learned though.

Everyone needs to go and find their own path. It is not even guaranteed that you’d like it if you were to taste the “best” teas first. Some things are a learning and training curve, while for others you need to know the bad to know the good.

There is not one truth out their either.

Source for what? And why do you want this stuff? The real single tree gushu stuff is more expensive than gold - worth it? Is a 2000$ / bottle burgundy wine worth it?

I'm not talking about some specific tea here.
But even if I did, I'd love to have a source that I always can turn to should I need any genuine tea I like.
