No I use reverse osmosis filtered water. Not sure if its my taste in teas. I like a strong flavored tea. Until recently, I've pretty much left the tea bag/infuser in my cup while I drank the tea.
For the samples though, I purchased a cheap gaiwan and steeped varying times. Some have a good taste and some, to me, are just weak.
