I was better off dropping this tuo off the empire state building than the normal method to breakup a puerh cake.
Even the toughest puerh cake are no match for this..
Great tea though, raw honey with a smokey cinnamon & apple flavor
Thick liquor that coated my throat.

@Teas We Like’s 2001 Iron Zhongcha. Super super super good. Smooth and oily, with a sweet finish that lingers forever. A really soothing throaty quality. When’s this tea gonna restock?

2006 Yong De braided Puerh of Lincang from Norbu, enjoyed from Petr Novak cup shino cup and treebark pot....
This little cup, purchased from the TeaChat special offer, turns out to have quite an affiinity for this tree bark pot, in size, shape, and the way the crawling shino and the treebark each finishes echo each other.

Some shou pu-er gifted from friends wich went to china some time ago.
Quite smooth, slightly earthy, somewhat sweet and floral. Did not expect it to be soo smooth.
If anything it is not too complex, so i guess its not too aged. I cannot read the language and would be grateful if anyone knows more about this tea

1999 Menghai Zhang Xiang Ripe Pu Er. A loose leaf tea from Chawangshop. It has developed nicely over the past few years. It has some camphor (zhang xiang) but what I really notice is a grain or bread like flavor. Is there a traditional name or description for that flavor/aroma?

Probably it fell on the bottom of the bag while i opened the wrapping of the cake.
Yes most, if not all of them. This brown and the red ones are particular heavy cases.
