Re: Taiwan Tea No.24!

It got announced! As someone who has dabbled in camellia formosensis production more than the average I find it funny that they got the certs for that tea. I have it on the site right now and it is the least consistent tea tree imaginable. As you walk down a row of these trees in their cultivated st...

Looking For Help With Tea Videos

Hi All, Thought I would ask here as this board is the most knowledgable out there that I have seen. It would help if a tea nerd was interested. If this is the wrong place then please move/delete it of course. I need some help with video editing for Youtube. I am creating some amazing content but lac...

Re: Puer-esque teas from Taiwan

Thanks for sharing this very interesting information and video Mountain Stream Teas. I enjoy a LiShan from Nantou/Taichung that is from old growth trees, the deep roots really do produce exceptional teas, mineral rich, sustaining multiple steeps. I see you are in Hualien, Taiwan; one of the best re...

Re: Puer-esque teas from Taiwan

My current favorite topic! I am quickly becoming an expert on old tea trees in Taiwan :) Taiwan has many wild tea trees that seem to have been isolated somewhat into three populations. One around Nantou, one in the southeast and one in the southwest. The southeast and Nantou area pretty similar and...

Re: Oolong vendor topic

I suppose it depends on what sort of shops you're talking about. I've seen a lot of "low quality" loose leaf shops popping up, which often sell either CTC or the lowest grade full-leaf. Of course, I do not know if any of those new outfits have good tea. What I do know is that the fancier they look,...

What packaging is best for packing tea?

Hi All, I have a question about packaging. What does everyone look for in the packaging of tea? What is your favorite packaging? What is your least favorite? How important is the packaging for you? I am trying right now to figure out which direction to go. For sure, I have printed labels so no sees ...

Re: Mountain Streams Teas Launch Date and Spring Tea Adventure

Just placed an introductory order, shipped to 12484. I'd certainly welcome any samples, particularly of the orange blossom oolong, puer, or anything else you think I shouldn't miss. Welcome to the forum! Thank you very much and there will be a couple samples included for sure! Should be shipped out...

Re: Mountain Streams Teas Launch Date and Spring Tea Adventure

I was under the impression that milk oolong is essentially never steamed in milk because it's expensive and not as accessible in Asia and the fragrance won't carry through much. The fragrance is from chemicals. It's interesting that your Bao Zhong is more expensive than your puer but I bought them....

Re: Mountain Streams Teas Launch Date and Spring Tea Adventure

I love the challenges of starting up so your questions are right on! I am also not an expert on Puer so I have thought through a lot about how I have labeled those teas. Here is the story: For the record if you are interested in seeing the Facebook page of the tea producer send me a PM. There are p...
