Did it have sort of Apple notes and a reddish tea soup? That is what I got in the past from TW white teas. No It didn't. I find the sweet Apple note when I drink Alishan or Lishan oxidated around 30%. You can see the liquor colour in the last picture....complex to describe...a little bit brown/oran...

Last saturday morning I drunk an Alishan oolong light oxidated; usually I drink this kind of tea fresh, but this one, aged 2 years, still has a great aroma and taste...!

Bai hao Yin Zhen 2017 from Panxi. Not a top grade but it's funny to discover different tasting notes changing a little bit the temperature.

I can imagine some epic tastiness between Dian Hong and Jin Jun Mei. Haha yes is a good tea. Sweet potato, choccolate, malt but with also a fruity note. I usually don't like vegetal notes in black teas but in this jin luo it was delicate and only over the 4th steep. After 1 year it was less vegetal...

Jin luo "Golden snail" black tea from guanxi. Really interesting tea, the taste is something between a Dian hong e a Jin jun mei.

Alishan oolong from qingxin cultivar can be really powerful...I really like these teas. It's funny to taste the same leaves with a different oxidation.. 5%, 15%, 30%, 70%... the taste is really varoius.
