Have you considered boveda packs?
This is interesting. Would seem like a good solution for the short term while I figure out how to make a pumidor?

Do you have any experience using these?
Yes I have them in my pumidor and they work great.

Re: Cups

These cups from Red Blossom (mentioned above) are excellent quality porcelain, IMO: https://redblossomtea.com/products/jingdezhen-cup You could also try these (although I can't speak from personal experience): https://taiwanoolongs.com/collections/tea-wares/products/museum-grade-eggshell-porcelain-...

Re: Aging puerh: what is your setup?

Hi, 1 month ago i put into my pumidor the HuangPiano by W2T ( December teaclub), when it arrived, it was so funky ( in taste and aroma). But now, all my tea have that aroma, how do you deal with that ? ( I put the cake out the pumidor for now ) I'm no expert but perhaps take all your cakes out to l...

Re: Unglazed questions

I'll try to answer your first question. Basically, no, absorbing tea flavors is not specific to yixing. It depends on how porous the unglazed clay is. I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) how porous a pot is is mostly to do with the firing temperature, low fired more porous, mid fired less poro...

Re: Biandeng, opinions

Bok, did you get this from emmett? No, locally purchased in Taiwan! Wouldn’t make sense for me to buy from the US if I have it at my doorstep. Just more tricky to wade through the fakes, too many other people looking for this stuff here. Although most are after the real treasures. F1 seems not to b...

Re: Recommend trying a Water flosser

Wait, what? Flossing between your teeth with water before a session? Ya look up water irrigator or water flosser. It's amazing all the little bits of food stuck in there affecting your taste. Very interesting. I'd never heard of a water irrigator! Give it a shot, I got mine for 40 bucks on amazon. ...

Recommend trying a Water flosser

Someone on here mentioned on another thread how they use a water flosser and noticed a significant difference in the taste of there tea, so I picked one up and I can't believe what a difference it makes. If you have the means and haven't tried one I highly recommend it. I use it before any of my maj...

Anyone have experience with puerhshop.com?

Experience with thetea.pl and adventure in every cup?

Does anyone have any experience with thetea.pl or adventureineverycup? Thetea.pl have some interesting puerh offerings. There's 99 8582 on thetea.pl for what I think is quite cheap 140$. Is that price normal for this tea and age? I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to tea and am wondering if an...

Re: Top electric kettle

I have this one that got better reviews than the bonavita and cuisinart. It's lasted me a year+ with no problems so far. Ivation Precision-Temperature Electric Hot Water Tea Kettle Pot 1.7 Liter (7-Cup), 1500 Watt, Stainless Steel Cordless, 6 Preset Variable Heat Settings for Tea, Coffee or Baby For...
