archimon That 1st pot doesn’t look like pure hongni. It might be zini coated inside + out w/ hongni which would explain why it is so cheap. Hi archimon! Welcome to the forum :) I think the porcelain gaiwan is a great idea. I would stay away from that yixing - it does not really look like yixing clay. It looks like a waste of money to me.
