@TeaTotaling Did you know Wu De was from your state?
I like most Taiwanese oolong I purchased from GTH, but maybe @Bok can get us better stuff

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
All this talk about danzhu had me dig out some teas for an experiment. Two danzhus & one typical multi-trees gushu. All 2019 Spring harvest. I don’t have the maocha version of the multi-trees, so will have to keep that in mind. Honestly there’s not much difference between the two danzhus. Maybe one ...

Re: NY Times article about beautiful tea
If you ask me tan wearing vest guys are probably worse, haha I agree. Fake tan + vest is an awful combo  treetime I want to assure you that you’re not alone in feeling this way, but I don’t necessarily see gender policing on this forum. There are misinformation, bad judgements, obnoxiousne...

klepto I haven't tried it yet  ...Got distracted by other teas  pantry I had both the 2005 and 2006 in loose leaf form. I can't tell the difference so I bought the 2006 Tai He cake. Where can you buy Wistaria's Hotien Houtuo? I don't see it on their website. Do you have to email them ...

klepto Did you manage to grab EoT's Lao Jie Zi in your order too? Wondering if it's worth the hype  vuanguyen Tai He is actually my favorite among Wistaria tea, but I much prefer the 2005 version. Did you get a chance to sample the same tea from the different year? I just had Wistaria's Hotien...

Re: NY Times article about beautiful tea
Only last week, I did a virtual private tea session with one of Wu De's students. It was fantastic! Very meditative and spiritual. I have to ask, was that person a model too? j/k Honestly I don't think the message they're sending is bad. I like the Taiwanese oolong I got from GTH. Bok I have ...

Re: Making fake tetsubin water for cheap - just add iron egg!
Interesting product. Thank you for sharing! I'd be more careful about the plastic kettle getting melted by the egg though, since iron can get really hot!

Still super busy with work, but managed to brew up some bohetang huangpian '19 and YQH chawangshu '06 while fighting my keyboard When I am working from home battling with work on a busy day, I would usually brew up a larger pot (grandpa style) and let it soak all day. Refilling with hot water along...

Re: The Essence of Tea
Chadrinkincat I don't mind the young sheng -- the more the merrier! However, I have to say I'm not always a fan of their tea club sheng, which is okay. ( July was fun, but the tea was meh.) The draw of the tea club for me is the surprises. The EoT offerings have been decent, but nothing has r...
