Re: Has the internet lost interest in British-style tea?
A quick browse through reddit.com/r/tea shows that British tea isn't dead on the internet. Instead, I think that this specific tea fandom/community uses things like gungfucha, puer, gaiwans, yixing pots, etc. to differentiate itself from both people who enjoy their casual teabag and the "old women a...

Re: Lockdown & Tea: A Time to Identify One's Beloved Teas
I've found something similar. During lockdown, my girlfriend and I bounced from place to place a month at a time for 5 months. Tea had to be taken, of course, but bringing the full pumidor to her parents house seemed ill advised. So for several of these places we only had a few teas: Hong Kong Henry...

Is now a good time to try Japanese teas?
After buying a tetsubin, I've felt a desire to try Japanese greens again, after being smitten with other teas for the last few years. That said, I know it's been quite a few months since plucking. Would I be better off waiting til spring to buy?

It seems they may have gone their separate ways? Novak is no longer on the Keramik Studio website, as far as I can tell.

@Baisao I've also found it a good way to get use out of any Topo that goes flat, and if not a good shake and then cracking the cap a little works well.

Re: Water Water Everywhere... What’s Your Water?
Personally, for water, I fill up a 3 gallon bottle with RO water at WholeFoods and mineralize it with Topo Chico mineral water. It's the right balance of results, effort, and environmental impact as it involves no disposable plastics. I worry about the impact of recycling the glass bottles but I ha...

Re: Water Water Everywhere... What’s Your Water?
As an Austin resident, Alex Jones has, to my face, told me I'm going to hell purely for my sexuality, and several of my friends were physically attacked by his supporters for the same reason. I agree with Baisao , there was a time when he was mere Austin color, but the way people in this thread are ...

Thats an interesting idea! LeoFox DailyTX It comes down to what is the intended purpose of knowing the exact thickness of the wall?? I usually associate thickness or thinness of the wall to the weight of the overall pot. What I've noticed are super thin wall pots always comes with smooth or lightly...
