Nothing wrong with going for the cheaper pot. You can always upgrade to something nicer or just stick with this one if its satisfies your needs.

It could easily be a mistake in labeling the pot or I could be mistaken about clay. The price suggest it is a coated pot though. Yep, that's true. But the craftsmanship is also not that good. @steanzeI’m not a big fan of that design but it is clearly well done in my opinion. I’m curious to know how much that F1 pot sold for compared the original design you linked to.

Unlisted prices are normally start at $1000. That pot is from master/famous section though so it’s probably $$$$. It's by a lesser-known craftsman from the 80s, and it isn't very finely made, so I would be surprised if it's that expensive - but ZAG's prices are on the high side, so it is possible. ...
