Re: importance of $/g ?
I don't usually plug the numbers into a calculator but I do eyeball them and estimate dollars per gram, especially when the price first looks good and then I look and realize that it's for a smaller than usual quantity. how much I'm willing to pay per gram depends a lot on the specific tea, how much...

Re: What Herbal Are You Drinking
A combination I've been drinking a fair bit lately, especially in the evening when I don't want to be caffeinated as I'm getting ready for bed: for the 500 mil pot, half a lemon in thin slices, a few slices of fresh or candied ginger, a pinch of whole dry rosemary leaf, pinch of dried lavender, pinc...

as I am reading this, I am sipping the last bit of a sample of 2022 Nilgiri Highland Black from Ketlee. it is completely unfair to compare this sample, which was delayed in opening and then sat open for a while before I finished it off today. Kettle tea is tasty, but now your post is making me long ...

Obubu Summer Sun sencha. They describe it as a summer harvest tea with a pleasant astringency. I find it veers from astringent to bitter, but it also has a captivating roundness and warmth like summer in the vegetable grassy notes that is very pleasing and that helps me to put up with the touch of b...
