I started pairing w/ Dong Pian from last winter. This was a mistake ...

Also, it paired very well with mooncake.

Happy lunar festival!
Yes, happy lunar festival! (I like mooncakes. Interesting, varied, unusual combinations of flavors.)

Re: Taiwan Tea Crafts?

Randy, It is so good of you to post about your return to this tea & the session that you enjoyed so much (in stark contrast to one that was not enjoyable). You give us a great example of one session not being enough to judge a tea. Different moods, parameters,.... whatever, give us a different sessi...

Re: A tea concept, please help?

Welcome to the forum. Here's a list of ?s you might ask us & more importantly entrepreneur experts: What are the odds of a new tea vendor having his brand on supermarket shelves? Re: Pair of celadon cups

Raining on the parade a bit: From the photographs, I don't see anything special, not color(s) nor crazing. What am I missing?

I like, own, & use contemporary celadon made in Thailand. ? is serious. What is it that I don't see or know?

Re: Celadon Appreciation

.... When paired with this green tea that I've been drinking every day, it seems to reduce the higher aromatic notes quite dramatically- and to flatten the body a bit. The aftertaste seems to be preserved. Leo, Your comments about celadon effecting what you taste surprised me. You are much more lik...

Trying this tea again with tozo's reduction akitsu mumyoi - the result is very poor. The clay seems to kill the body to the point it seems stale.....
Just wondering if the comparison of the pots' effects here comes down to unglazed clay versus glazed. (I don't know about tozo's pot.)

Also this tea has a lot of stamina- did 20 or so rounds yesterday and then an overnight- was quite nice in the morning
Wow! That means that even if it is "expensive" per gram, it is not really expensive. Seems that you found a wonderful tea. Again, thanks for sharing.
