Re: Classic pu?
Excellent! These are the exact sort of answers I was looking for. Always wondered what the number was for. First two numbers are year of recipe creation, next the grade of leaf and finally factory number. Example: 7542 is 1975 recipe, Grade 4 leaf and factory 2 which in this case is Menghai Tea Fac...

Re: When to ask for a refund on lost shipment
I have an order from white2tea stuck in Guangzhou processing for five weeks which is highly unusual for a white2tea order but it’s also that time of year when delays are common and several others I know have waited as long for theirs, (many waited 4-5 weeks for Black Friday orders), before arriving...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
2016 Daily Drinker from white2tea. Sweet and smokey goodness that smooths out nicely in later infusions. Some decent depth for a more basic cake too.

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
A session filled with notes of mushroom, coffee and earth. Savory until the end with zero sweetness. Very thick and creamy soup. 2015 Vesper Chan Bulang Ripe from Bana Tea Company.

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
2015 Vesper Chan Bulang Raw from Bana Tea Company. Some smoke and sweetness mixed with apricot, slight bitterness in second and third steeps, none in later infusions, semi creamy soup, some dryness in the mouth and packed with serious calming qi. In final infusion the leaf heavily sugar scented and ...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
There is this delicious, rich sweetness reminiscent of Ceylon that I can only imagine is a result of the oxidation of the maocha during the pre pressing wait time. Also reminds me some of the notes I often find in Jingmai. Both characteristics really make this tea a treat to drink. Nice huigan as we...

Super smooth with notes of scotch and oak. A nice mellow session with this 2007 Yin Se Dayi “Silvery Dayi” “Silver Dayi” from King Tea Mall.

Re: Pesticide odor from '04 & '12 Xiaguan
I'm considering selling off bits so people can get to know the odor! I’d leave out any mention of Raid in your description. :D But seriously it sounds like something I’d avoid. I think about that EoT pesticide sample set they offer and though I understand and appreciate the reasoning behind offerin...

It’s all in your head. Now drink your poison tea and be happy. If it really bothers you buy some nose plugs.

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Thick mouthfeel, notes of wood smoke, apricot and evergreen with sweet tobacco in later steeps. At infusion seven and eight the semi smoke moved into sweet with no serious loss of flavor until nine and ten and finally waning at fifteen. Ended at steep sixteen but if I hadn’t pushed it harder with lo...

Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Seriously smooth and creamy with a sweetness I knew would be present before steeping as the aroma of the dry leaf was heavily sweet. Absolutely no bitterness and very crisp. For a sheng so youthful it has none of the weaknesses you usually find in something of this young age. Also as seen by the pho...
