Re: What Pu'er Are You Drinking
Just had a session with a sample of 2017 Gu Ming Xiang "Zheng Zhuan" Bu Lang Mountains Ripe from YS. Very interesting ripe, it has a bit of bitterness; not a lot, but probably the most that I've had in a ripe. It tastes of wood, light roast coffee, pumpkin, and dry green herbs with a light fruity sw...

Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking
Drinking Amber Oolong from Mountain Tea. Really good budget roasted oolong, tastes of fruit and spice with a resin-y astringency.

Spring 2017 Jinggu "Assamica Big Tree" black from Yunnan Sourcing. Huge, gorgeous leaves. It's hard to tell the scale of size from the picture, but some of these leaves are two or three inches long. https://i.imgur.com/LdGQ2eI.jpg Tasting notes: honey, malt, artificial chocolate, and pencil shavings...

Re: Yixing
My Yixing collection grew two sizes today!
Two 85mL late 90's shuipings made for export to Taiwan. Hongni and zini, purchased from Chawangshop. I plan to use the hongni for young sheng and the zini for yancha.

Re: New Tea Blog: The Mellified Cup
I love the photos in your reviews. That 200X Wuliang looks tasty! What year is? I didn't see it mentioned in the review. Thank you! I'm a bit self conscious about most of my pictures (other than the banner photo which I'm really proud of) so it's nice to hear that you like them. I don't have great ...

Re: Selling 120ml hongni shuiping
I'm interested... But I've got a couple of questions. Where did you buy it from? How much is shipping? Looks like it's been used some, what kind of teas? How's the pour?

New Tea Blog: The Mellified Cup
I recently started a new tea blog, TheMellifiedCup.Wordpress.com The blog will focus on reviews and comparisons of teas, but also contain tea “experiments” like home roasting oolong and growing tea plants, as well information and guides for beginners. I would love any recommendations or feedback tha...

Re: Yunnan Sourcing website: .com vs .us
They have two separate sites, .com ships from China and .us from the U.S. The China site has a larger selection and lower prices, but shipping is longer/more expensive to the U.S. The U.S. site has a smaller selection and higher prices, but shipping is cheaper/faster to the U.S. I am U.S. based and ...
