Re: Help me match my pots with some tea
Steanze and tealife, which one of these pots do you think would be good for aged oolong? What do you look for in a pot for aged oolong? In terms of how it affects the tea and physical characteristics?

Re: What Oolong Are You Drinking
Had some milanxiang 2016 dancong from bitterleaf teas. There description is pretty accurate in terms of apricot aroma. Around the 2nd and 3rd steep there's a nice lychee taste and aroma, which surprised me as I haven't had much dancong and didn't expect a lychee flavor. Not sure how it compares to o...

Re: Aging puerh: what is your setup?
I'm wondering what RH would be considered wet storage? 80%. I'm trying to go for dry storage for my cakes and have them at ~69%. Depends how you define wet storage. I've more recently seen people refer to all teas stored in Southern China/Southeast Asia/Taiwan as wet storage. Nonsense, dry storage ...

Whats your puer storage like and what are your thoughts on puer storage in general?
I'm reading kyarazens blog right now and he talks about completely sealing his puer cakes for storage. Which, if I remember correctly, the cakes will not ferment as much as they will oxidize, perhaps both but less fermentation than if it were interacting with the outside environment, please correct ...

Re: When to ask for a refund on lost shipment
I'm also waiting 6+ weeks now for a black Friday order from yunnan sourcing, it was a big order, and I didn't know but I chose the shipping that comes over on those big freighter ships. I talked to Scott and he said for this shipping it takes 7-12 weeks, but usually arrives in 7-8. Do you remember w...

Re: MountainTea
I can only speak to two of there teas, the medium roast dong ding (non special reserve) and the dark roast TGY. The dong ding is ok, not as good as the charcoal dong ding from floating leaves imo. It could be it just needs more time to rest as it's quite roasty still. I like the dark roast TGY, espe...

Re: Help me match my pots with some tea
Hey what would you consider thick? It seems similar to the other two in terms of thickness, maybe a little thinner. I'm gna do some comparisons with a gaiwan with each pot, and I'll try everyone's suggestions so thank you. If you take a picture of the opening without the lid I can tell you :) I'm a...
