That's a very beautiful teapot from the 80's. Unfortunately, I've never seen this one for sale in the West.

Done I still like this one. It has a hairline crack (visible on the fifth picture) and the lid is glued / chipped... but I'm glad that I've kept it.

I've got 3 of those tea tasting sets from green label period. I don't know how much they are worth in the West. Maybe $150.

I've started to clean my pot with Sodium Percarbonate today and there was much foam in the pot. Is this normal? Before the Sodium Percarbonate bath I put it in water with some Sodium Bicarbonate for about one to two weeks... but I rinsed it afterwards.

New pot incoming It cost me about $1, but I had to drive 225 miles for this pot. (The seller did not want to ship it.) It's in mint condition. @Chadrinkincat has a similar pot in his collection. In my opinion, it's a genuine pot from ROC period.

@Zera I've read that those pictorial seals were common in late Qing dynasty or earlier ROC period.
