The presence of a cold or virus impairs my palate more than anything else. I can still appreciate tea when I'm moderately sick, but I won't evaluate something new. I bought two of these recently, from teafromtaiwan. They are 4oz to the ridges, decently thick porcelain, don't feel cheap. Traditional Halmari Gold is lately my perfect wake-up tea- I prefer it at breakfast to any other hongcha. Even their modestly-priced somewhat broken version is excellent.
