Dayi 7592 Beijing storage. Sweet, flavored and well balanced with a quite dark liquor. We took out the old good teaware for the session.

This is what I've been told.
My point of view. I only noticed it with worldwide large distribution teabags. Never happened with the tea from the vendors I buy from now.

Started with a gaiwan, moved into a crazy amount of teapots over the years just to end up reselling them and going back to a simple gaiwan again. There’s just something special about their simplicity that I enjoy and the fact it’s all about the leaf and not what the pot is doing to it is nice too. ...

I personally do not feel very comfortable with that kind of products. And if you have to reapply, it means to me that the grease goes somewhere (in the tea you drink)

One vendor that I would recommend is Farmerleaf (former Bannacha.com). Based in Jingmai, they run a family business producing Jingmai puerh with natural farming processes. They can be followed on YouTube with informative videos in English about their processes.

I don’t know about the consensus here but on the French speaking side of tea lovers TTC is very recommended for tea quality.
