Wow it looks so tiny its a cute one!
I have to ask... hows the pour?
I've been thinking for awhile now about replacing my old direct filter pot with a nanban one... but the the pour( and the price) are scaring me off
Any problems you've noticed so far yet?

^Nice 70's shui! I know f2 probably does not have the best reputation(maybe it it deserves it) but they did I think definitely produce some nice stuff earlier on and in fact early on they used the same clay that f1 was using at the time... Here's my 80's zini xian piao. Clay is really smooth and glo...

Re: Gisui Natsume(eggplant) kyusu
Looks like I can't edit the title again but it looks like I made a mistake in making the title.
I meant to write "eggplant"(茄) instead of "pear”
Sorry for the mix-up!

Re: Ode to the Kyusu
well... damn
Looks similar to the feldspar that's usually added to rihi(pearskin) pots.. but obviously they don't turn out so purple in the end

Nice nanban pot
Really like the look of the purple grains that he mixed in with the clay.
Do you know what they're made of?

Gisui Natsume (eggplant) kyusu
Hi all! I put this up for sometime in sale during December, but due to the lack of interest I decided to pull it. Hopefully since the holidays are over I'll have a better chance now to let this one go  140ml(to the rim) made of natural tokoname clay(本朱泥) direct multi-hole filter $150 Cheers...

Re: Gisui Natsume kyusu(140ml)
Thanks to everyone who showed interest in this, but ive decided im going to take this one off the market. Probably a bad time to be selling teapots so close to the holidays anyway accounts for less interest+ my own renewed interest in experimenting with it means im just going to hold on to this one ...

Gisui Natsume kyusu(140ml)
Cross-post from teachat(kinda  ) I always feel like I'm going to regret letting a pot go when I decide to put one up for sale (and with this one I definitely feel that way) but now that I've gotten a hang of what I like using regularly, this one unfortunately just never gets much actual use...
