Re: High-quality tea subscriptions?

one tea per month. about 10-15 grams. The magazine goes into great depth on that months tea. It will show the farm and the growing practices, as well as an interview with the farmer. It also goes through suggested brewing parameters.

Re: High-quality tea subscriptions?

They are located in Taiwan and put a great emphasis on quality and sustainability. They shy away from the Gaoshans due to the farming practices. They get many different teas, and many I would never purchase on my own. They do seem to get a bit over spiritual on some things, but the tea is always sup...

Fancy tea tables/tray

Ive decided id like to get a nice tea tray for my brewing. Id like to spend a few hundred on something large and a bit fancier looking. I have a dedicated table in my room that is always set up for brewing, so it wont be moved. Ive seen some very nice ones on etsy and a few on ebay. I was hoping the...

Global tea hut. The magazine alone is worth the subscription.

Re: Global Tea Hut

Ya, I was the one that posted it in the FB group. Confirmed my suspicions of non Menghai, but even so, $150 for a 98' cake still leaves many questions.

Am i missing something? Ive always considered them to be top notch although a bit pricey.
Isnt that like a $400+ cake?

Re: Western facing F1 vendors list

I definitely think that if the accessibility was there, the knowledge and money would follow. Theres only so much you can learn from books and the internet. I think westerners work up to the bigger spending. (Or at least i do) i have several hobbies that i spend some pretty big bucks on. I never sta...

Re: Western facing F1 vendors list

While that is a fair answer, i feel it is an oversimplification. Knowledge of fair market value is the missing variable. It is difficult to justify spending a 4 digit number on something when you cant see a precedent of price.

Re: Western facing F1 vendors list

I think the lack of hard price info makes people shy away. When it comes to qing/early f1, its kind of a cloak and dagger subject. I think westerners would be willing to pony up the money, if there was more certainty the price was fair. Is $400 a good price for a 120ml late 60s shuiping? Well of cou...

70ml is a less versatile size than 90ml so I’d be pretty pissed. I assume this is the pot your currently selling?
No, he allowed me to return it.
Shame too. It was a very nice pot.

I havent had any interest in that one im selling. Probably going to take it down and keep it.

Re: Western facing F1 vendors list

http://2088taiwan.com/ I have heard from mutual acquaintances that he now only sources tea ware on request. Guess he overestimated the demand when acquiring the current large stock of teapots... but then, better pictures and descriptions, as well as less Neiziwaihong could help his case ;) ya, the ...

Western facing F1 vendors list

I seem to see a lot of threads started asking about yixing that end up turning into requests for trusted vendors for F1 and older pots. Here are the ones I know of (not many). Lets make a list. http://2088taiwan.com/ https://emmettsteas.weebly.com/ http://zishaartgallery.com/product-category/yixing-...
